Surprise!I have a pixie cut and was baffled as to how I could cover gray at the roots without making the rest of my hair turn out to look "two toned" as it had using other brand name hair color products. It actually turned out better than any salon I've ever been to. I was also doubtful that I would wind up with the right color from eSalon, as my natural color is an unusual shade of coppery red/strawberry blonde, and no salon has ever gotten it right. Love the colour but not the packagesYour colour is the best! The only complaint is the single use packages for shampoo and conditioner are ridiculously hard to open. Looks to good to be true.I was super excited when I ordered. I had really done my research and felt I made a good choice. I think the questions they asked were good. But when I opened the bottles to mix the product it had really harsh chemical smell, which I read was less with this company. I liked everything in the box. Once I started coloring I realized that it was more brown than red. I specifically selected red, my natural hair is brown, but I was more on the red side. The directions said 15min wait time, however I know it takes my hair longer to take so I let it sit longer, by doubing my time. And when I was done coloring my hair was not red, but more Brown with a hint of red. So not very happy. Then I also noticed when washing my hair is was very slimy and clumpy to the touch. I have washed it 3x now and still it feels gross. I could have used a $3 box dye and have a better experience. I guess the reviews did pan out in my favor this time.
