Great product, needs better communication/ greener packagingMy natural hair color is not easy to define let alone match. Esalon got it right the first time and I was very pleased. My hair felt great and the color seems to be holding well. I experienced 2 concerns that should be considered. I sent follow up questions by email which were not answered. (I expected the reply to be slow due to the current situation. But my questions were not answered in any way.) Also there is a lot of packaging, which is necessary to some degree. I believe that the packaging could be greener, with cardboard inserts to replace plastic ones and the option to pay a little more for reusable items like brushes and sturdier gloves. (Tye gloves were so cheap that one of them ripped to shreds as I was trying to put it on.) Rocking this colour!Totally on the money when it came to getting the colour correct; seamless blending of root greys with hair lengths so as to avoid obvious regrowth, and oh so easy to apply - who needs to go to a salon, wouldn't change a thing!! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Much Better than a box!I’m waiting on my second shipment. The first one was good, but adjustments will make it better. Perfect match!I usually don't leave reviews, good or bad, it's just not my thing. However, I really felt moved to do so about this product! I was super excited to receive my hair color finally yesterday, and honestly was really just hoping to cover my gray in my roots. I had resigned myself to the fact that my brown roots wouldn't lighten enough to match my blond hair, but in a time like this, I was happy to just get rid of the grays, and I'd deal with the brown later when my hairdresser opened back up. I was BLOWN AWAY that this color lightened my roots and matched the rest of my hair PERFECTLY! I was texting all of my friends to show them, I was just so elated! Other than user error of not being able to reach a spot or too in the back (not showing), this product was fantastic. Kudos to the color specialist who put this together! Great product and results!This product came into my life at a moment in history. Felt like getting a little gift in the post! A great product, clear instructions and lovely end result. Only thing I will say is the step to wash out bowl and tip over at the end wasn't a great experience as I use a black dye and have long thick hair. The same can be achieved with dampening the hair with the shower and rubbing the colour as they do at the hairdressers. Caused a lot of mess I could have done without.
