RunnyI’ve been using esalon for years and this was the first time it was runny, to the point I had color trickling down my face and neck in rivulets. Surprise!On the first box I received, I had been sent an email that the color had been changed. I was clueless as too why. The first box that was sent, was sealed on so tight that it couldn’t be opened. The customer service lady was great and said there was an issue with the bottle tops and they would send a new box ASAP. Which they did but I never got all the special supplies I was told I would get when I first ordered and my replacement box didn’t have the “special other bottle and any extras”. After I did my hair (and this is not my first rodeo) my hair looked exactly the same just a little blonder. I have naturally red hair and red hair has attitude, so I waited. I did call customer service but the return calls were at terrible times nobody left messages, called back etc. After a few weeks it naturally began to fade but to a funky blond. Never happened before ever! My mom was a Master Stylist, I worked in her salon through high school and college..etc. Like I said I know rec hair is funky and both my girls are reds. They are sending another order in June but I am nervous. I still don’t know why my first order was changed except the photo might have been bad. I have uploaded a ton more but don’t know if I can deal with the light blond/ orange look. I have been having the guy who took over my moms salon (after she passed) look at it. But after so many years of my mom doing everything, I worry I just bought a really expensive drugstore box. 3 of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Dark colorI like the Esalon hair color but it is always too dark for me. It also doesn’t keep the gray away for very long. The smell is nice and it seems less damaging to my hair. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
