Great so far!It has been years (over 15 years) since I colored my own hair. After years of on and off disappointments at the salon I'm pleased with this color. I was afraid to leave my ends on too long since I did not want it to grab my old highlights...I only left the ends on a few minutes. I think I will get better as time goes on. Colorists have a hard time following directions/requests10/5/18 This is an update from my last review. I requested dark blonde intense red to be sent to me along with the correct type of developer. Once again, I got the wrong thing. I got intense copper, a completely different color with a completely different color number attached. I clearly stated the color in a message through the website but was still sent the completely wrong color. In addition, I need to color my hair tomorrow and it takes forever for them to ship to me. I'm almost ready to try Madison Reed. Maybe they can send what is asked for the first time. Previous Review: At least two or three times I've asked for a specific color, darker, lighter, more red, etc. and the request was either completely ignored or completely misunderstood. There seems to be communication issues with some of the people creating the orders. For example, I had a pretty light (for me) red color. I asked for more red in the color and what they sent me turned my hair much darker and completely ruined my lightened hair. This is just one example of a few. The color is good- when it's right. Too darkSo, I was told by the specialist that it was gonna be an ash brown with no red;however, it ended up being black blue and ruined my hair! I had to spend $120 at a real salon trying to get this hideous black out of my hair....they had a horrible time trying to remove this color....esalon offered me a different color for free, but did not respond when I asked about not being able to just color over BLACK!
