So glad I tried eSalon!I have to admit, it was fun doing the color survey and deciding on which color for my hair. I decided to stay with my natural/original salon color and I have to say, eSalon got it even better!. The color and tone are exactly what I was hoping for and the grey coverage has been great. I am three weeks in to this color and I do not have any grey coming through. That never happens. Normally I would pay my stylist $125.00 for color and highlights and I have very short hair. That is before the tip! I followed the directions closely, only doing my roots and then combing through. This makes all the difference in getting the desired results. Like GlueI was very excited to try this hair colour after the many good reviews. Application was easy, it didn’t irritate my sensitive scalp and it didn’t have a strong chemical odour. Then came the time to rinse. I have coloured my own hair for years and have never experienced what happened. If I had seen a similar review before trying, I am not sure I would have. I rinsed and rinsed and it felt like my hair was caked in gel or glue. I could bend it and it stayed bent. The water was running clear but it was clearly not out. So I used the shampoo provided three times before I felt like it was liveable. This took more than 30 minutes of scrubbing in the shower. Now I do love the colour, maybe a little dark but grey is covered better than some products I have used. Love ESalonLove the color. Over the course of 2 years I’ve had 4 different formulas trying to find the perfect fit. I’ve figured out I have one I love for summer and slightly darker shade for fall and winter. It would be nice if I could personalize my color with a nickname so I didn’t have to guess which one is which. Unfortunately, on my last order the hole on the bottle of developer was so small I couldn’t get anything out. I had to cut the tip off to apply. I haven’t experienced that before. Side note. The new dusty pink shampoo and conditioner packaging is NOT getting a thumbs up from me. It reminds me of something you would get at a cheap hotel. Nice colour, too long of a process!I like the colour, the process however is just too long and the dye is extremely difficult to rinse out, I don’t like the shampoo or conditioner supplied, I had to wash and condition my hair a second time using my own to get it completely out of my hair, now let’s see how long the colour lasts.
