This is common with most color (it is less common with lighter blonde shades that have sheerer pigments), as the nature of color is the stain the hair, but our skin can also absorb these pigments. Not goodI've already written a poor review. I don't understand why I'm being prompted to write another one. But sure, I'll tell you again that your product stinks! It immediately began to fade in a week, by the third wash! This product is no better than the stuff you buy in the drug store or grocery store. And it is way over priced for the lack of quality product I have received. If I were you, I would not waste my time or money on this product. It is terrible if you are looking for something that will adequately cover your grays and not fade. The color was beautiful, the quality...not so much. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not what I wantedIt's not the color I was thought I was getting. I already had great brown medium/dark brown hair with red undertones. Love my new colorWas worried about the new Esalon color not being “red” enough- although it is slightly different than my previous red, I love it! AND, my husband loves it! ExcellentI was pleasantly surprised by the initial contact and follow- up. I found the process for choosing a colour very simple and appreciated the follow up text. The products arrived beautifully packed with easy to follow instructions clearly laid out. I did have a moment of panic wondering what I was doing using a hair colour from the internet and again when I saw dark brown streaks all along my forehead but these were easily removed by the products provided. I had stopped having my hair salon coloured because my hair had become very dry. I was delighted with these results. Not only was my hair colour perfect but the condition of my hair, using the products provided, was also excellent. My hair is coloured , moisturised and shiny.
