Hmm.Honestly I'm not sure what went wrong. The thing I disliked the most was when I washed the color from the strip of hair I tested my color on. Even after I used the shampoo and conditioner provided my hands and that strip of hair were left feeling greasy. Its been years since I last dyed my hair but I dont remember having that issue with boxed dye from the store. Maybe they got confused?Maybe you sent me what color i have an not what color i wanted? i wanted a much lighter copper tone, slightly mohogony and i have the exact color i already had .. and i didnt have any dyed hair ... its basically a dark brown .. cant see any copper at all just a TINY slight tiny ONLY in the sun Very sad 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. BurningColor wasn’t even close to what I asked for, but that’s ok, cause it washed out in 2 washes, but the worst was the excruciating burning of my scalp for over a week after dying. I’ve done my hair at home several dozen times with multiple brands and this is the first time I’ve ever experienced the burn that this chemical composition put on my skin. Hands, shoulders, back, no exposed skin was safe. I was protected through the dying process, but just rinsing it out and splashing a bit on these parts of my body was enough to leave a burn, even though I showered after the whole thing. I love this product, but...I’ve been using esalon for a couple of years now and I love it, except for one thing. Like many others have said, it is nearly impossible to rinse out. It leaves a waxy clumpy film that takes 5 + washes to finally get out. I keep hoping that they will fix the problem because so many have complained about it, but so far no luck. Love love love ❤️At first I was hesitant to buy color online since I always go to a salon, however I ordered esalon and absolutely love it .. I was tired of paying salon prices every three weeks to just cover the gray .. I did it at the comfort and convenience at home and the videos were fantastic .. it was easy to follow .. the products alone were great , the. Clips, the brushes, the timer , the cape and the bowl .. I ordered the cape separately but worth every penny .. it’s made very well ..I ordered the darkest brown color and it matched perfectly .. the product left my hair healthy and shiny as if I just walked out of the salon without the price. I even called customer service to speak to a representative and they were phenomenal and sooo helpful . My colorist is a genius!Ok first of all, a shout out to my colorist! You r the bomb! At first I thought it mightve been too dark almost fearing it was ashy tone n I cant have ash tone in my hair bec I have reddish blonde n it blended quite beautifully. A Perfect Adjustment!I have very color-resistant gray hair, It seemed like my gray roots were growing in faster than before, so I mentioned this to my colorist, Danielle, who suggested going a shade darker. I went with it, and it has been so much better, I'm really pleased! She changed my color from medium to dark blonde, which doesn't sound like a big change, but my gray coverage lasts longer and my color is a bit richer too.
