Great color, Great price!Great color at a great price! Covered my grays and matched up with my existing dark brown hair color very well! It wasn’t too dark and hasn’t faded too much after several washes. That is my only complaint, that the color did fade a bit, nothing drastic though. HOPE TO EVENTUALLY GET THE COLOR I ENVISION FOR MYSELF....My first color was darker than i would have liked. The process was very easy. The smell was typical hair dye not any stronger not sure why the complaints on the reviews ..not so powerful that I need to complain about odor. The instructions were doable and i felt that the coloring process was not so harsh on my hair as store bought. Hope to get to the color I would like by working with my colorist. On a whole had a positive experience for my first time ...i think they were on point with base color but wish it would have been lighter with the gold tones indicated only reason took off a star. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. DisappointedWhen I applied my color this time I noticed it looked darker than I remembered it in the first two deliveries. As I styled my hair, I saw that it was definitely darker and appeared "muddy", lacking the rich red tones of the previous sets. I have since washed and conditioned my hair twice, hoping that the drabness was due to color residue but no improvement. I reached out to eSalon for assistance on Monday of this week. I had previously been satisfied with eSalon's response times (1-2 days), but it has now been four days and I have heard nothing back other than the confirmation that my request had been received. COLOR WAS COMPLETELY OFFI have been dying my hair a very light auburn for years now. Even though I was very hesitant to veer off from my usual dye brand, I decided to give ESALON a try based on their "expertise" and customer reviews. I uploaded a picture of myself so they could do their best to match my color. What I ended up receiving was a BRIGHT, MERMAID, FIRE red that is completely off from my normal color. I couldn't belive how drastic the outcome was. I could understand if it was NEAR my normal shade in my original picture, but this was FAAAAARRR off. I had to go to the store to buy color oops just so I could strip it out!! It's unfortunate because I was very hopeful this program could work for me, but that's just the risk of trying it out. I was hoping I could post my before picture and after picture to show it better, but I don't see an option to do that. On another note, applying the product was very easily and gentle on my hair compared to other products. It was not runny and did not dry out my hair. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
