Better than expectedI was a bit hesitant because I wasn’t sure if MY color choice (copper pearl) was gonna blend well with my Auburnish shade. So I let my roots grow out more than I usually do ... almost gave up coloring all together and was just gonna embrace the gray. But I was tired of the silver so I decided I’d go for it. I followed the instructions to the T... stayed only on the the new growth and kept off the already colored strands and It blended really well. Because my natural hair is a multi dimensional gray (silver, white and gray), it made my hair color multi dimensional too. It really stuck to the resistant grays ... in the past I’ve used store bought color kits and have literally seen my grays peeking through right after coloring. So all in all it went well. Pretty colorWhile it was a pretty color my hair has not been the same. While I regularly loose hair the amount of hair coming off my head in the shower was far grater than normal. Mixed emotionsPros: precise instructions, everything you need to color your hair; protect your hands and even wash color off your forehead are included, ability to have colorist tweak your formula based on your feed back Cons: despite tweaking my shade 3 times now, my roots still come out lighter (and I only color my roots)- only did the ends refresher the very first time I used esalon products when needed all over color I believe that I require a different developer, perhaps 15 in order for my roots to develop correctly and to my knowledge esalon has only one level of developer (20) 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Gorgeous color!I used my first kit yesterday and I absolutely love the color. It is bright, multi dimensional and exactly what I wanted. I have not been able to get the exact shade I wanted until now. I am very happy with it! I am hoping it lasts and does not fade! I would like to do it about every 2 months.
