I'm so glad I gave it a tryI must admit I was very skeptical trying this product. It definitely exceeded my expectations. This is the first time coloring my own hair that the ends actually matched the crown of my head. Now to see how long it lasts. I'm hoping the color remains this vibrant longer that store bought kits. I am an 8 year client of esalon and love it!In 2012 my schedule became too busy for salon appointments every 2 weeks and I needed a solution. You screwed up!First order was ok. A little more time than I usually take, and it was dark. I asked for my next order to be lighter, redder. PKG says dark blonde and mahogany. It is almost BLACK! I hate it, my husband hates it. Makes me look very old, and very pale. I'm sure you've seen women of a certain age dye their hair very dark/black and it looks like hell. Like an old vampire. Not what I would have pickedI received a dark brown color the first time after saying I didn't want to go darker. The second shipment had a medium ash mahogany with red in it. I tried it and it didn't look great with my skin tone. I went to my hair stylist and had it adjusted. Nothing wrong with the product, but not a fan of someone picking my color online. It also smelled terribly strong compared to products I have used from Sally's or the salong.
