Do it at homeThis is the best do it yourself color kit I have received. I do one previously from a different company and I actually was allergic - had red bumps all around my face. Horrible residue left in hair...but great colorNow on my third color set from eSalon -- and having been relatively happy with the past two -- there is something horrible going on with this batch. Despite rinsing until the water ran clear and then shampooing/conditioning, I now have a horrible waxy, greasy substance on my hair. What is going on, eSalon? Editing my original review to say that despite the issue with trying to remove this from my hair, this is easily the best color (the actual color) that I can find outside of a salon.
