Dark Blonde turned Dark Red-Brown - UGH!After detailing i hadnt colored my hair in many years but remembered i had alot of red tones resulting previously, the colorist made a special potion just for me. I wAs excited to try it and then horrified at the result. I sent her a pic to show her. Surely she can fix this. Oh no. She wants me to go buy color remover and pull all the color from my hair and send another pic before she will even ship out a replacement color. So im supposed to go to work with yellow hair from the removal? Oh no. Dye didn’t color my gray hair well/didn’t order another oneWhen I used the dye it didn’t cover all my gray hair. The color is supposed to be dark brown with purple but I couldn’t see the purple at all. To add insult to injury, they send me another one that I didn’t order. I called to clarify. The Best One YetEverything in one box is awesome, especially when u have such a demanding schedule like myself. The auto ship is great as well. The reason for the 3 stars is because I was looking for a more burgundy purple color not so dark brown mahogany but I'm sure we can tweak it!! UPDATE: Order received In April is the closest to what I've wanted since I first started. My colorist had my ends bottle PERFECT in what I want, the roots bottle was still had more of an auburn red tint, this time I did my roots with Bottle 1 as instructed as always but actually saturated my hair from roots down to about 3 inches from the ends then I waited about 5 mins then applied Bottle 2 to all my hair except the roots, put my hair in a shower cap for 10 mins followed by putting water in the 2nd bottle as instructed, saturating my entire head then followed it by rinsing it with cold water. When I dried my hair my roots were redder while the rest of my hair was the EXACT color I have been trying to achieve since last summer!! I love eSalon for making it convenient for me to color my own hair without breaking the bank. I appreciate the efforts to adjust the color to give me exactly what I want!! SO if we can figure out how to get the roots to match my ends this will definitely change to 5+ stars 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
