Way too darkI requested a color to take out my brassy highlights and color the rest of my hair. I got a shade that’s about two shades too dark and my brassy highlights are copper - not what I wanted at all. I got one response and no solutions. custom color setThe first attempt at coloring my hair was a mess. I am loosing hair daily. I don't know if it is the strong ammonia formula or something else in the product causing this. I was so in love with your color match concept and mail order system. I am beside my self trying to figure out how to get my hair to stop falling out. If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction. We have reached out to you via email with more details on next steps and how we can help get this resolved for you. In the future, we recommend performing a skin allergy test 48 hours before each hair color application. Instructions for the skin allergy test are included in our Product Safety & Usage guide with every hair color order. On behalf of the eSalon Family, we wish you a quick recovery. |
Instructions made me overthink itI’m used to using the box dye from the stores. Never have a problem with applying the color to my entire head but with this system, the instructions tell you to part your hair with the clips and select piece by piece... it made me overthink the whole process and miss a decent size spot below the crown of my head. Color on my roots has faded to a lighter brown after just a weeks worth of washing. Not happy unfortunatelyI used to love getting my shipment from eSalon but after tweaking my order 3 times I am basically back where we started. My hair is darker with a bit of purple that is absolutely not what I had hoped for. After chatting with my my stylist I had thought that we were on the same page but unfortunately I don’t see results 😓 hoping my next round will fix it 2 of 4 people found this review helpful. Somewhat disappointed.I was much more satisfied with my results after applying the products sent in my second shipment. This most recent purchased almost seemed to not hold.
