I was super happy with my color!I went from over-highlighted dark ash blonde base to a coppery dark blonde and I love it. The change in my appearance was dramatic but made me feel great! I did add the eSalon light kit to keep some of the lighter contrast which was perfect. My hair is such a pretty color now and eSalon's first attempt was perfect to give me the right shade of coppery blonde without going overboard...now I am thinking of eventually going even a little more copper! Great productI do like this color system. I’m just having some trouble getting the exact color I want, but I think that is just me, I have a lot of gray and have been highlighting for years, at first the color was just too dark, but my hair did feel healthier. Left my hair feeling extremely dryI was looking forward to this kit. Unfortunately, the dye left my hair feeling very rough and dry after the application. I have really short hair and the formula did not cover all the grays even though my hair was completely saturated with product. The final color was nice, but nothing out of the ordinary (I have obtained better-looking hair, color-wise, from store-bought dyes). Also, I wish there was a way of choosing the size of the bottle; I had so much left over even after having covered my entire head. I followed the instructions and used everything but it felt like a waste of product!! And it didn't even cover the grays!! Ugh. Updated my review to 1 star because the customer service attempted to remediate the situation by offering me free color.
