Meh...It was ok. I told the stylist that I did not want a coppery blonde color. I told her I was afraid of my hair turnung brassy. I even told her if she thought any of those things would happen that I would prefer to go darker instead. She assured me it wouldn't, but it did. My hair was a copper blonde. I even spend the extra money on the neutralizing treatment . It was fine. It covered up most of the grey starting to peek through and had I had a different color my experience might have been better. It was easy enough to do myself but I will not be ordering again. Very harsh, too dark, pulled redThe good news is the color is beautiful and rich, but way too dark. I specifically asked for an Ash color, and I was sent light brown with a red neutralizer. I tested first, and it seemed fine. Followed instructions to a "T" and it was a very messy process. The smell was HORRIFIC, like ammonia I think but I have a bad sense of smell and yet it overpowered me. My hair came out WAY TOO DARK and RED AS ALL GET OUT, and very very dry. My scalp itched for days after I used it. I am very disappointed and now have to pay for a color correction at the salon because I want to avoid more dry damage if I use a lift to pull the color. I'll stick with Sally Beauty and mixing my own, or out of the box works fine for me.
