Ruined my hairI was referred to try this out and thought 'how cool, build a hair color for your hair!' Wrong. I've colored my own hair COUNTLESS times and it's not that hard to do. But, i don't know WHAT went wrong, or what was actually IN these products but it completely ruined my hair. I had semi-thin hair, but after using this TWICE my hair was so thin you could see a whole run way of my white scalp when i'd part my hair. It was HORRIBLE and extremely notice able. I was even question by my family if i was going thru issue because my hair was so thin!! Once I realized it's THIS product - I had to cancel my subscription. I spend HUNDRED of dollars on tape-in extensions to feel better about myself, then after about 3/4 months I cut all my hair off to remove the damaged/extremely thin hair. Now, my hair is finally getting back to normal. I am SO upset but i'm so glad to be rid of this. Never again. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Wrong colorIt could be a miscommunication but I gave a clear picture of the color I was wanting which was light pinkish brown. I had dark blond hair and the result came to a complete black, and don't know why this happened. She told to wait 2-3 weeks to apply another color. Better than my long-time coloristI have tried for many, many years to find a colorist that really understood what color I was searching for, only to be disappointed! I've paid in upwards of $200 for what was guaranteed to be "the red I showed"! I am a natural copper, ginger. I have numerous pics of my color over my 50 yrs to show WHAT color I wanted my hair to be. It always came out Auburn red, Burgundy or blonde. Esalon has captured my color! Perfectly!!!! I can't thank you enough for FINALLY helping me be my true REDHEAD self again!! I will never go back to an overpriced colorist, that tells me its impossible to replicate red hair! The color was perfectI can't say that I was not nervous to try this product. I have done everything from box dye at Walmart to spending hundreds at the salon. So when I did the questionnaire and I saw the colors they chose I was excited because they were exactly what I was looking for. The box came very fast and when it arrived I was excited to try it. The process was easy and I loved the little sticker to hold up the directions (very nice touch). The color was a little darker than the picture showed but it still turned out perfect.
