Color Never Came Out GoodAfter signing up for esalon I was excited for my new Auburn color. The first set of color made my hair look Kool-Aid red, I called my colorist and explained in great detail along with sending photos of how my hair turned out. The top of my hair was way darker than the ends. It was a mess. She sent me a new color and I gave that a try. She had assured me that she really understood. Well, I ended up with bright orange hair. No where near Auburn. Thank goodness this color washes out fast. Not only is the color not at all what I wanted twice. The toner stains your hands for days and anything it gets on. The product itself is extremely strong chemicals and burned and smelled horrible. The shampoo and conditioner sent with the product is such a tiny amount it didn’t even cover all of my hair. I did cancel my membership and asked for a refund. I just can’t play around with my hair like it’s a wig. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because they did issue a refund for my color. Terrible Grey coverage.I ordered my color at the end of August. I ended up holding on to the box for another month because I was traveling and frankly a little scared to use home box color. I was worried about the color that the stylist chose because it was dark brown on dark brown. Not very dimensional if you ask me. But I went for it. At the end of September I used the color kit. And it was exactly what I feared. Flat, way to dark color. Like I had been cheap box dying my hair for years. Terrible. But I was stuck. But then I noticed a couple of days later that the color looked a little less intense and I though well maybe it was just the color settling of something. Fast forward we are now at the end of October and my gray coverage is GONE! I have gray hairs becoming uncovered. My highlights from my salon job are showing. This product is worthless. I’m super disappointed. I could have bought cheap Box dye at the grocery and had better results for less money. Waste of money. The product wasn’t tailored to me. Just one dimensional cheap color. Patrícia bagiI bought your product a couple years ago , I was so happy because finally was covered successfully my gray hair . This time I chose different tint , and really is not the color that I chose , it was Ash blonde but ion my hair it is COPPER ..... and the worse part it doesn’t cover as before my gray hair well !!! Did not cover greysI really wanted to like the service for its customizability and ease of use, however after following the directions carefully and specifically focusing on my greys, my grey hairs are still grey. Also even after using the shampoo and conditioner, my hair still smells strongly of ammonia which is an absolute headache and gives me one too. The rest of my hair did not change from black to dark brown either. Sorry to say I don’t recommend this and will not be back. 1 of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Hair ColorI have spent a small fortune on my hair over the years. I tried store bought color ONCE it left hair feeling dry and brittle. I tried eSalon and the process was easy to follow. Afterwards, my hair was soft and I love the color. My sister is a professional cosmotoligist and she gave me the thumbs up to try eSalon!
