Inconsistent, messyI was recommended this product my a family member and I thought it would be a great way to color my grey at home and save a trip to the salon. Although the instructions are straight forward and it comes with everything, I found it messy and ruined my shower curtain. I also found the color to be very inconsistent even though I followed instructions. Personalized ColorI had done the guidelines and answered questions. My color was too light. The silkiness of my hair was wonderful. I had gotten personalized consultation on the phone twice before I actually used the product. My consultant was reassuring and answered all my questions each time I called. When it ended up being too light I asked for a very minor adjustment toward the next shade golden. It was not very much and was a beautiful color. My whole family has complimented me on the color. It is definitely personalized. I am confident that it is the same color every time because they use the same formula each time they create it for me. The color blends the gray away and stays true. There is not any fading before it is time to do the roots again. My husband complements the color and the condition of my hair continually. Great productI used to go to the grocery store and try to decide what color to buy each time, alternating between a lighter color and a darker color each time. Now, the color is consistent and I don’t have to decide. I usually bought what was on sale that day. Love this, and the shampoo and conditioner preserve the color. New formulaI noticed on today's application that the product is creamier and adheres to the hair much better. It was so much easier to apply and it lathered it beautifully. Love my Color~~I have been purchasing eSalon hair color since 2012 with no problems or issues. The color is fabulous and as you can see it leaves my hair shiny and luxurious~ Because of my thick, long hair, I found that I needed more product to actually cover the grey. Without hesitation my eSalon consultant made sure that my orders would complete the job. My hairdresser even says "I don't know how you do it. I have people who come in after they have done their own hair, and i have to fix what they did." Lol, not me... he also says that my hair is in great condition! (Thanks again, i also use the Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner Duo.)
