So HAPPY with my new ColorI did a complete color change from Blond to Red and let me tell you my hair was a color mess and now it looks amazing, if I do say so myself. I was so afraid of HOT ROOTS you know where your roots are totally bright and the rest of your hair is normal...did not happen, my roots were the same color as the rest of my hair. Did not cover my gray hairI’m very disappointed with the outcome of my hair coloring. The grey roots were not completely covered and to top it off the color that did stay is a reddish brassy red. I absolutely hate the red and in my original comment as I was filling up my initial order was how much I hated getting a reddish hue. I also indicated that I have hard to color grey hairs. Very disappointed in products and customer serviceI have a lot of gray and from the get-go, I told esalon I needed permanent color to combat the grays. After a couple months, I was still noticing my grays coming through soon after application (even washing with cold water and doing ALL the things that you’re supposed to do to get long lasting color), so I reached out and come to find out esalon is sending me temporary color. In what world is temporary color used to cover gray? None. They switched it to permanent after I reached out twice unhappy and guess what, shocker, I still was unhappy with the coverage. Something has changed!I have loved eSalon hair coloring and have always had great results up until the last shipment. I have my hair dye on auto ship for every 10 weeks and I can normally go over those 10 weeks without noticing my gray showing before the next coloring. With the new formula, my gray is already showing and my next shipment has not even been shipped out yet. The product is not lasting as long on this new formula. I have added the hair tent to my order in case this happens with the next shipment. But, I will not continue to order the product if it is not going to cover my gray like it did before this last shipment. The benefit of coloring my hair myself is to save money. With me having to buy the color plus the hair tent, I may as well have it professionally done in a salon and not have to worry about doing it myself. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not quite what I was hoping forI was really looking forward to a rich Dark purple/ blackish, But it ended up more red/brown with a tiny tiny tint of purple ... usually I’m blown away with the results of my colours but this time I was disappointed :( 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
