Newbie FriendlyAs someone who has never colored her own hair, this was actually really easy to do. It did not have strong odors. The packaging is newbie friendly. I wasn't sure but...I wasn't sure about the color but I have gotten several compliments including from the husband. The overall color lightens up pretty fast but it lightens evenly keeping my little band of gray covered almost until time to color again.
