First UseThis was my first experience using the eSalon color set. It is different than what I am used to and was a little messier than I was ready for but thankfully I received 2 sets of gloves in the box (thanks for that!). The color itself turned out beautifully however my grays were stubborn and after a week are already making their debut. That being said I do have experience with coloring my hair and I did leave the color on the roots (grays) an extra 15 minutes but those stubborn hairs don't want to be overshadowed. I will give eSalon color a couple of tries to see if I get better coverage but if not I may have to return to the other subscription color I was using before. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Darker than my past color.My first time using eSalon hair color. I wasn't happy with the results. Much darker than I thought it should've been, didn't cover my Gray well. Initially received the incorrect colorThe color I had originally ordered was changed by my first colorist. I addressed the error and was sent the correct color however it was not ammonia free (which is what I ordered the first time). Very impressedI am 60 years old and have colored my hair at home for a very long time. Then I started having my hairdresser do it because my color always faded out so fast,the same thing happened when she did it within three weeks my hair was probably three or four shades lighter than it should have stayed.That did not happen with my hair color that I received from Esalon ! Super convenient service and nice professional colorHonestly, I was sceptic before I recieved my color set. But when I use it, I was pleasantly surprised. The texture of the mix is very thick like they use in the salon, the smell was even pleasant. My color turned out exactly as I expected. All instructions are very clear.
