Nope!While the product was easy to use, the color was SO wrong. I have had vibrant red hair, and sent two pictures. Thank goodness I did a strand test. The result was a dull and lifeless reddish blonde, not the vibrant red color that showed in the picture. I am not willing to try new formulas by mail, as I just don't want to be bothered with the hassle of multiple attempts before it's right. Sorry. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Itchy scalpHi I am writing to you about my hair color problem. The color is fine but I must be allergic to something in it Right after I applied it as directed my whole scalp started to itch horribly I had left it on for the 15 minutes-washed it with your shampoo and conditioner then rinsed it out and my scalp was itching horribly so I washed it again with my regular shampoo and conditioner rinsed it but my head still itched. Finally after getting driven nuts I had to take baby oil and saturate my head with baby oil which I left on for about 10 minutes to stop the itching. Then I rewashed my hair again and conditioner then it quit itching. So I’m afraid I can’t use your product anymore I don’t want to do this again so please cancel my membership as of now. Leaves my hair silkyI’ve been using Esalon for four years. It’s made coloring so easy. It’s on my own time, in my own house. I can easily color by myself. Esalon Hair Color always leaves my hair feeling soft and silky. I have dark brunette, naturally curly hair. I wear my hair straight, soft curls, or scrunched in a natural free style. Esalon has always managed to take the brassiness out so that in the sun, I don’t get a red hue from the coloring. Every summer we spend a lot of time in chlorine water, floating in rivers, and playing in lakes. And the gray is perfectly covered for 6 weeks. WitchcraftY’all, this is magic. I submitted my info and 2 photos of my hair (which had multiple colors, exposed roots, grays…all the problems). My stylist Sylvia absolutely nailed. I have NEVER been this happy with my color. It’s consistent, natural-looking, maintained my natural highlights, and is BETTER than I could have hoped for.
