After some tweaksAfter my initial experience, I sent a photo and had a follow-up conversation with a color specialist from eSalon, explaining that the color was too dark and flat. It appeared to be my darkest tone, but covering my whole head. I explained that I wanted it brighter and with more shades of blonde, copper, and auburn. She changed my formula and instructed me to use the lightening kit to add dimension. Good colorLike the fact that you can get a darker color to cover roots and a lighter color to refresh the rest of your hair. Makes for a better color match. Do think it is a bit pricey for root color and shipping at almost $30. If you also get the refresher color there is an additional charge. Wrong colorWas supposed to have a natural copper demi....I have naturally light reddish blond hair....my hair is now a horrible brown and I cant wash it enough to get the color out. UPDATED: The company did provide a full refund without any issues, but my hair remains the wrong color, even after daily use of Biolage clarifying shampoo. I will give them credit for the color staying power. It has barely lightened in the areas where my hair was the most blond prior. I wear my hair up in a bun most days since due to the pandemic our hair salons are shuttered and I need to live with this for at least another month before I can even make an appointment. I would also recommend folks read the ingredients list carefully - including the additional section that generically states that any of their demi and permanent colors may contain any of the additional, harsher, chemicals listed in that section and which do NOT appear in the list for the specific color type you may have ordered. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Mixed opinionI received my first ESalon colour, I loved the packaging and the instructions were very simple to understand. Unfortunately the colour did not come out as I had hoped. I ordered the light brown and it turned out slightly darker than expect and very warm, my hair is orange in the sun which I am very unhappy about and I haven’t been given much advice/ direction on how to correct it even though I have asked on more than one occasion. On a positive note I can say that they do keep their promise about 100% colour happiness guarantee but I will have to put a lot thought into ordering from them again as the customer service is very poor. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Not happyI was very clear explaining the color ive had for years. Red. The color i received turned my hair brown. Then i just realized already they biilled me 40 more dollars for one treatment to color roots. Its not even been a month since the fiirst order. Why 40.00. Im on ssi. Not even close to the right colourI was really excited to try this service and ordered a lovely copper Auburn colour,very similar to my childhood colour. I sent photos of my current hair colour and of exactly what I wanted. What I got was nowhere near. It's not even close. It's about 3 shades to dark at least and isn't even the right tone. I'm so so disappointed. My hair is also SO dry that I am going to have to pay a salon when I can to get it fixed. I will definitely not be recommending this to my groups. My long hair is totally ruined and I have tried unsuccessfully to contact the company for the last 4 days. They are not replying to any of my messages 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
