I was hesitant!I was a little hesitant to try this product. I had been coloring with over the counter hair color and I was disappointed almost every time. At first I was afraid of having an allergic reaction to the esalon formula but I wasn't. Then I was afraid the color would not last but I was wrong! I am going to be a costumer of esalon for life!! Great color!I had a friend with experience to apply the dye as it was my 3rd time coloring my hair at the age 53. We applied some of the dye to my eyebrows too. The blonde highlights I had before were covered and the color looked very natural. IN LOVEEE!After experimenting too much with my hair and ending up with was about three different colors at once, I decided to give this brand a try, and I love the results. My hair looks very close to my natural hair, its very soft and doesn't feel damaged like with other hair dyes. Personalized ColorI had done the guidelines and answered questions. My color was too light. The silkiness of my hair was wonderful. I had gotten personalized consultation on the phone twice before I actually used the product. My consultant was reassuring and answered all my questions each time I called. When it ended up being too light I asked for a very minor adjustment toward the next shade golden. It was not very much and was a beautiful color. My whole family has complimented me on the color. It is definitely personalized. I am confident that it is the same color every time because they use the same formula each time they create it for me. The color blends the gray away and stays true. There is not any fading before it is time to do the roots again. My husband complements the color and the condition of my hair continually.
