Ineffective for gray hairAfter trying multiple color kits in various iterations I have to concede that this is not the product for me. It does not cover my gray hair at all, and I get splotches of my natural color shining through. This isn’t normal, I’ve used other root color kits on the market and had quite satisfactory results with them. I thought eSalon would be better, but it has not turned out that way. I keep having an ugly red undertone to my brown color, even though I’ve communicated this problem to the colorist every single time they supposedly changed my formula. I colored my hair with the latest one they sent me and there’s zero difference with the kit they sent me beforehand. I don’t think they changed anything to be honest, they just sent out the old formula. I’m going back to the DPHue root color kit, as I got a much better gray coverage result with no red undertones.
