You've Got Me - Permanently (no pun intended).I have tried almost every brand of hair color out there, as well as the salon (before it got just too costly). I have been coloring my hair for over thirty years (it's been greying that long). Now it's pretty much white. My natural color was a dark ash brown with some chestnut, but whenever I try to get a medium-toned auburn or chestnut, the roots come out orange - no matter how dark or brown the color is supposed to be. What's more, unless they're the amethyst or burgundy auburns not found in nature, they're all warm-based. I had my doubts about finding the right color on a computer screen but after several tries I did find one and turns out it was called "ash mahogany" - a cool red?! I told the colorist about the root issue and said I didn't want too much red in the mix. Within two days I had the color. And? No more dual tones. Natural roots! More multi-dimensional than any OTC color I have ever used. Great conditioning. The kit contains niceties not found in OTC brands (the stain repeller works better than the petroleum jelly the salon used - which often didn't work - so well I didn't even have to use the included stain remover). Compliments coming my way. I am an eSalon customer now...no more poring over dozens of not-quite-right colors in the store. My color is the same as last time l colored itImagine that! I would forget which box of hair color from the store l used. It never matched. Not anymore! Disappointed with the colour changeDear All, since quite some time I am disappointed with my colour. As aging the ordered colour is too dark and therefore it makes me look much older. Texting with my colourist has not been very helpfull. I stuck with the colour "dark brown 20 gold" sometimes like that, sometimes with the remark "lighter". The change is hardly to see.. When I explained in texting..., that the colour is too dark, I get the respond : other is not possible. Why? I dont understand that. You marketing with the image you would mix the colour everytime individually (btw: who buys that?) nevertheless it is not possible to adopt my colour to my needs. Here is what I need: an overview of brown colours possible! please send it to me or put it up on your page. Are you only offering dark brown? no so please give me some options to choose. I had ( 2019?) received once the proper colour, but the order history doesn ´t show. Please step into that and help me to get my truely individuall brown with a golden shimmer as requestetd ( or as advertized). ~The Silver SlayerI’ve never heard of eSalon before my dear friend heard me complaining that my silver strands that now highlight my hair, would not hold over the counter color. She told me to try this product. She assured me that I would love it. My friend was right. eSalon was able to hide that silver that was glistening in my hair. The only complaint that I have with the product was it was a wee bit dark for my liking. That being said, I am certain it was due to me choosing the wrong hair coloring initially. I sent in a new photo of myself from the summer. I do hope that the hair specialist can match the color of my summer hair better than I could choose for myself. Either way, I am completely done with using over the counter color. I am now a eSalon gal! Thank you so much for helping me hide my well earned silver! Women NEVER looked distinguished. Light brown from esalon is a dark-black colorFor my initial order I selected a dark brown color with ash tone. When I applied it to my colored hair which at that time was a medium-light brown color, my hair turn out black. I contacted my colorist and she suggested to just let it fall out with the washes or to apply a hair color remover. I applied the color remover as I hated how the black color looked on me. Once the black color was out, I contacted my colorist to get a lighter brown color. I applied the light brown to my hair and to my surprise it was another black color. Now my hair is dry and black. I hate it so much, but I am not going to put it through another color remover treatment. I am not sure if esalon knows what a light brown color looks like or if the colorist just didn’t give me the right color. Still not happy with the tone/shine color of my hairIn the light (daylight or fluorescent) it shines tawny with almost a yellow tone. I am still hoping for a colde, almost blue-ish tone, more purple.
