Didn’t cover my grayI filled out comments said that I wanted to cover my grays. I said I had black hair. I was sent soft black and it was brown basically so my gray was still there. Helped me overcome my fear of coloring my hair!I'm a natural strawberry blonde, and over the years I had seen women attempting to dye their hair the same color as mine and they seemed to fail miserably. Never had the same tone or luster as mine, and I could spot the fake a million miles away. Anyway, now I'm pushing 40 and the grays are coming in fast and loud, and I found myself in quite a pickle. How the hell was I going to keep my color without looking clownish??? In swoops Genevieve with eSalon, and she mixed up a color that was nearly an exact match to my real color. I don’t know!Unfortunately I can't give a good review so far. I went abroad at the end of March. I ordered on March 13 because the website stated that it would be delivered within 1 week. But it took more than 3 weeks before it was shipped from the online store, and then a long time by post. So by the time I had to leave the set had not arrived. Orange HairI am sadly very disappointed in this hair dye experience. My goal was to have a soft natural light brown matching my root color. I took the quiz, uploaded photos, wrote out my goals to the colorist. I was advised to first fill my blonde highlights with a copper tint rinse. I then applied the "light neutral brown" on top. I was left with nearly black hair. Upon trying to rinse the color out over the last week I have been left with a carrot orange color. I followed every direction to a T ... my hair is now damaged, not a cute color, and will have to be fixed professionally. Perfect!! Finally!!I was totally surprised and super happy that i finally found the perfect color result and doesn't damage my hair actually feels better after coloring. So personalized and convenient and turned out great!I love the ease of choosing my color online. There were so many choices. I love how easy i tweaked it for my next order. The shampoo and conditioner in the kit were very nourishing and detangling. The color turned out great. My hair is still healthy.
