disappointedI have colored my hair twice, used product 2 months, followed the directions. The color was not covering and what little did, didn't last long. Why does eSalon want me to be a redhead when I really, really don't want to be??My primary goal has been to tone down the red tone. I requested ashy. The eSalon color still is way too red. My roots, which are naturally about 70% cool brown and 30% gray, keep coming out a deep bronze. NOT thrilled. The developer shifted down from a 20V to a 15V (thank you). But this time it seemed to smell so strong that my eyes watered the entire time and I could barely see where I was applying the color. Could we try going down to a 10V developer, or something still milder? Thanks for listening. Copper ColorColor: instead of ash blond the color outcome was copper/ orange. Coverage: although I had the color applied very carefully by a friend who is a hairdresser, the coverage is sub par. Many grey hairs not covered. Color did not last 4 washes. After 3-4 washes the color was all faded. Dye darkened my hair instead of lightening itI ordered medium brown natural golden dye and got dark brown natural golden dye that somehow made my hair darker instead of lighter. First time home colourFantastic colour, very unsure at first about home colouring. Instruction very easy to follow, more enjoyable experience than letting a hair dresser do it. No boring sitting around salons with-out-of date year old magazine. Now onto my second order and gone shade lighter. Hair colouring is not just for women.
