A bit nervous, but Wow!After an initial email, saying my chosen shade was too dark and was being adjusted for me, my colour arrived. It took 8 days from the US to UK, which I think is pretty good. The colour indicated on the box looked liked it might be unnaturally red. But as it had come such a long way thought I do the strand test. I needn't have worried - the colour is perfect. Rich and natural with incredible shine, it covers the greys and works really well with my skin tone (it was definitely worth adding the photo!) First time customerI wanted to wait until 4 or 5 weeks had passed since coloring my hair to write my review. I wanted to see how the color changed with repeated washings, and how the temples held up, I am happy to give a 5 star rating. The color stayed pretty close to the color it was when I first colored it, and after 4 1/2 weeks my temples are just starting to lighten and the only grays showing are new growth. Exactly What I Hoped For!My color is perfect! I don’t know how they do it, but the color is an exact match to what I wanted. Now I can save time and money by coloring at home. I was a little sloppy with the back of my hair, but it still turned out great and I’m sure my application skills will improve with time. I really appreciate all of the helpful videos on the site, they made a big difference! PS - my hair is about 40% grey, but just like my expensive salon color, this covers them all. I waited a few weeks to write this review because I wanted to see how it wore. I’m very pleased! I’m 45 and I don’t plan on ever showing my greys if I don’t have to. Easy Peasy!This color was to cover my roots, and I followed the instructions exactly. What a beautiful color!! Very little clean up, hardly any mess. Easy to rinse in the shower and now I want the color all through my hair! So much less expensive than going to my stylist.
