New Improved Scalp Clearing is very Good BUT hair loss increase BadThe new formula (from last two shipments) is a clear improvement in terms of ease of application and removal but I experienced significant hair breakage and hair loss both times. I happen to have lots and lots of hair, it's fine and very porous and curly so it would be awhile before it would cause me serious grief but not sure how long I want to continue since it seems unhealthy. Response From Our ExpertsMargaret - We’re truly sorry to hear that you have had hair loss since using our hair color. In general, a person will typically lose up to 200 hairs a day. If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction. We have reached out to you via email with more details on next steps and how we can help get this resolved for you. In the future, we recommend performing a skin allergy test 48 hours before each hair color application. Love the new formula!Love the new formula! I've always thought esalon has the best color for me but I've had trouble getting it washed out of my hair. It seemed to turn almost solid after leaving it in and would take almost an hour to wash out. I found myself losing hair in the attempt, and would still find color for the next few washes. This time, it washed out easily! I thought it was just a fluke until I saw the note about the new formula that easily washed out. I absolutely love my colorEsalon is truly amazing. I love how simple they make everything for you. I’ve never colored my own hair, after watching a video I nailed it the first time.
