First time user - so pleased!My first time coloring with eSalon. Not only am I pleased with the color and condition, but the eSalon person (Mindy) who assisted me was fantastic. My hair is probably 75% gray/white naturally, but I needed to perk myself up. I had a stroke some months back and have lost tremendous amounts of hair. Trauma seems to do that to me. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. I was nervous because I had kept it "platinum" for several years because of all the white - until the stroke. I wanted to get close to my "natural" color -- a medium blonde with a definite reddish cast. I love it. Lots of fringe coming back in after the trauma, thankfully. Fabulous Hair CareI keep getting so many compliments and people don't believe me when I say I did it myself. They keep asking me where did I get it done at and how could I afford the price I paid for it? I keep telling them it's from esalon and they still don't believe me when I showed them the box. What did you change??I’m not sure what has changed, but ever since you thickened you’re hair color, the color is not as vibrant, my hair feels damaged and the grey at my temples started showing after five washes...FIVE! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Excellent colour selection process and customer serviceI used to get my hair coloured in-salon but Covid-19 made me look for home colour kits. E-Salon’s advert popped up and I was hooked. A sensible way to choose a colour based on my current colour, hair type and natural shade. Any questions were answered and advised on by Tamara, who pointed me in the right direction. The first kit is complete with necessary accessories and others can be added. Which I did. The instructions are clear, and complete with a sticky label to put them up on your mirror or wall. Chocolate brown hairFor months I have been trying to get the perfect chocolate brown colour but it always came out too dark or too red. I ordered from Esalon and the colour was perfect! DissatisfiedI’ve used my custom colour twice now and both times I still had grey hair showing and the colour washed out quickly even though I wash my hair every 2nd-3rd day using special shampoo/conditioner for coloured hair. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Do the strand test first!!!Like so many I decided to try and color my hair during covid salon closures. Escalon is excellent if you have a darker color than your natural or want to match your natural to cover grays. Unfortunately, I wanted to lighten my natural a lot because I have heavy blonde highlights— this is just not a realistic expectation with at home color. I cannot stress enough DO THE STRAND TEST FIRST... if you don’t like the shade, they are more than happy to send you out something different.
