Amazing!I can’t rave about esalon enough! I absolutely hated my hair colour, it was so blonde it looked fake (I used L’Oréal Excellence natural baby blonde), this was the only one that would do something with my roots. I found home box dies just weren’t getting me what I wanted. I saw this and had to try. Customer service is excellent. I selected the colour I wanted. I received an email saying because of my current colour this isn’t possible. I received a list of options and an alternative colour. I went for the alternative colour, so then over time I can develop to my desired colour. I received a colour for my roots and one for my hair is already coloured. I needed someone to help with the roots at the back as I’m so uncoordinated, but the rest was fine. The results are amazing!!!! I know friends of mine will be ordering to try. Given the situation with Covid this is a great alternative. I won’t ever buy from the shop again. I never thought I would be able to be my natural hair colour again. Great Color - not as red as I had expectedThis kit came with mostly everything I needed (except a cape/smock) to easily and successfully apply my own hair color. The application process was a little bit more time consuming than I expected, but the custom instructions were easy to comprehend. I thought the final result was a beautiful color! However, it was a bit more brown - and not nearly as red - as I had hoped or expected... I loved the mahogany color but red tones are sort of my “signature”. Love Color, but a little frustrated...So this was my third kit with eSalon. The color is on point, and the fact that the red stays vibrant for so long is really awesome. My one frustration is that the past two times I have received my kit, there is no brush included... for those of us who work faster and get better coverage with the brush, it is a huge bummer that it has been missing out of my last two kits.. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Something was offFirst off, it took over 2 weeks to reach me. When I added the water as directed little flakes came out of the bottle. I figured I either didn't shake it properly or the developer was old. Regardless, I got in the shower and massaged the remnants into my scalp. Some dye dripped down onto my face but since my hands were busy with my scalp I didn't wipe it immediately. After the shower, after dressing and drying my hair, my face starts to hurt and turn red. The location of the redness is coincidently where the dye dripped. I thought dryness might be the issue but sadly it seems to be a chemical burn. Since this has never happened before I'll give esalon another chance as there truly could be a bad batch of chemicals but please check into this to verify so others are not harmed. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
