Not for meI ordered the coloring in August, but I did not do it until a few weeks later (9/12/20) and it came out with two colors. I had lighter color on top and on the bottom was darker. I had a make an appointment to get my hair done on 9/19/20. I am sure this work for other ladies, but it was horrible on my hair. I had to wear a hat or a headband to cover. Love the new formula!I have been using eSalon for 5 years now and have been very happy! I received the new formula during my last order and WOW! The smell is much nicer, it doesn’t stain, and it washes out like a dream! The old formula had almost a waxy finish and it would take 3 shampoos to get it all out. It is also much easier to apply. ALOT darker than expectedIts always difficult to select colors on a computer screen, nonetheless, I went with my gut and chose the darkest brown they had... and its DARK! Overall, the process and instructions were easy to follow and my hair looks and feels fabulous. Next time, I will try for a lighter version and see how it goes. Did the JobI love that this service is available and they make it as easy as possible to do on your own. My color was a touch brassier than I tend to like, but it did the job of covering grey. After a few purple shampoo washes it was fine. I have purchased 3 times during the closures and am so happy to have the service when needed.
