Grey coverage and lastingI was really hoping to get better better quality from this service after reading a lot of positive reviews. I also didn’t write this until after the third time dyeing my hair. I have about 20% grey. Just some at the roots. I also have pretty dark hair. So I needed something that could cover my hair but also look natural on darker hair. I didn’t find that here. The coverage didn’t last, neither did the color. There wasn’t any shine after the second time I washed it. A lot of the reviews say how nice it feels after dyeing your hair, and it does! But as soon as you wash it that feeling fades fast. MUCH darker than sample photos, no grey coverageColor sent to me was called dark blonde. Hair is dark brown (slightly lighter than black items if I lay my hair across to compare). I wanted to go closer to my medium brown natural color, but I was surprised by a “blonde” being so close to black. Would make it almost impossible to select a different color to try when the actual results are so extremely different from color shown online. So impressedI have to start with saying I’m the kind of girl that has never really used box dye (maybe twice) and has always felt it was easier to go to the salon, you know leave it to the pros. This product has impressed me so much. It’s so much more than a boxed dye! My hair is shiny and soft and filled with so much bounce now. I will admit there is one negative, it’s incredibly messy if you are trying to really get the color on and cover all. But it’s a small sacrifice to make for beautiful hair. I have yet to find a gray (I’m still looking lol) hair but overall I’m so impressed that I don’t see myself going back to the actual salon until I want maybe some highlights! That’s if eSalon doesn’t make a highlighting kit then I’m definitely not going back! I freaked out a little when I put the root dye on as it was drying pitch black and I got nervous because I wasn’t used to that, however my hair came out the beautiful dark chocolate brown I requested. My suggestion is if you feel that one color may be too dark just go with a lighter tone in order to soften it or tell your stylist you want a lot of warmth to the color and they will make it happen! Absolutely LOVED it !!The color was PERFECT and with redheads....that is EXTREMELY hard to accomplish :-) It matched exactly to the picture I enclosed and has such WONDERFUL color dimensions of gold, coppers and blondes. I am totally in love and can't thank you enough for giving me my original color back !! BEST MOST BEAUTIFUL HAIR COLOR EVER!!!I got my hair color yesterday and I colored my hair today!! THE COLOR WAS SPOT ON, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! Good colorI think it is worth the extra money. I’ve used it a few times and the color lasts longer and stays true to color than what I have used before.
