Color adjustment success!My first root touch up color process turned out to be too light for my root color resulting in brassy tones. eSalon responded quickly to my issue and changed my color mix based on a photo of me. They sent me the new mix without charge showing they have excellent customer service! The new color is a perfect match and I’m very happy with the results. Easy Enough for MeThis has taken the stress of salon fees off my back, especially with having kids and holidays quickly approaching. Just about perfectThe root color still came out a little "hot". They seemed lighter/oranger than the base ends. It initially felt too dark as my blonde highlights were gone. So I make want a little more blonde in the mix. I also struggled with not overlapping the two colors and getting all my hair covered. I have a LOT of hair. Overall I liked it. I think I learned a little bit as to what I could do better to make sure it doesn't get as patchy and better coverage next time. 3rd time is not a charmI have tried this product 3 times and 3 times the colorist adjusted my color and it's still not where I wanted it. Not only is the color not right but the product makes my head itch for days afterward. Even after I wash it a few times it still itches a little. Hair texture looks good, hair color missed the markMy hair color ended up quite a bit darker in spite of me requesting stylist input and attaching a few photos. Since the point of this service is to get that special touch that a colorist can provide, I would say that I'm not yet satisfied. I did start with demi-permanent, so I'm hoping we can dial this in, at which point I'll update. Not happy!I would not recommend eSalon to anyone. The hair color has a VERY strong chemical smell (just like a drug store brand) even after shampooing twice! And the 2nd bottle of color that I paid for, was a huge mistake -- a very dark purple (when I requested strawberry blonde)!
