Great color! CLOSEST EVER to my natural unique color of yesteryear!I am 63 years old & lost my uniquely amazing hair color just weeks after giving birth at age 31. I had separate metallic copper red & bright golden blonde hair mixed together that literally shone in sunlight - & I'd been told by stylists that I had enough thick, wavy hair for 3 women. How blessed I was! So, it was a difficult loss for me. I know I can never reproduce my color completely, as that would require dying each of my blonde hairs & red hairs separately by their difference in textures, but the closest I could find in an all-over hair dye has been increasingly harder to find - strawberry blonde. However, now, thanks to eSalon, I've achieved the CLOSEST I've EVER seen to my natural colors, after 20 + years of trying! Thanks to working with my colorist at eSalon, she kept adjusting my color (without charging me!) until it came out right - a bright, coppery gold that brings out my naturally red-haired person's rosy fair complexion & that helps me feel & look younger. Can't get this color back to normal now?!I ordered my very first box in January I finally received it after some time and it seemed to be the very perfect color when I did my roots! I was so surprised until I realized it didn't match with the other bottle first . My roots are actually orange-red instead of being the blonde they should be they don't need to be a bleach blonde I don't understand how I got so messed up from the very first one being spot on my roots and then everyone after that has been wrong please fix this!!! I actually liked the products but I really need it to be the right color!! Otherwise company seems legit and if we could get everything right I'd really like to try different products from them but if they can even get my color right then why waste my money on the highlighting kit..... Otherwise it's really convenient that they send all those special little things on the side that makes me want to stay with them as well. DisappointedMy hair is dark brown, but had a lot of grey in it. I wanted to get rid of the grey and change the color to Auburn. The stylist chose a Copper color. It wasn’t as bright, but definitely had red tones in it. Instead my hair ended up being dark brown like my original color. No change. Not what I wanted 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Very disappointedI hadn't colored my hair in over a year and a half so I decided it was time to go back to red. When I received my order, it became very obvious that nobody had read my color goal notes. I received 2 bottles and was told to do my roots one color and ends another color which seemed a little scary since (like I said) I had no color in my hair so it wasn't as if I was coloring previously colored hair. When I emailed them I got the response of "just use the root color on all the new growth" with no other instructions. Ok...so use one bottle over my whole head for how long? Do I still put it on the roots, time it, then add it to the ends? Called eSalon and was told what to do but the color is completely lackluster. Barely even looks like I colored my hair.
