Seriously salon quality at homeLoved the whole process. First, the kit has really cute packaging with everything you need (including stain protector). The instructions are easy to follow and most importantly the colour is highly pigmented, goes a long way and doesn't have a really harsh smell. By far the best at home colouring I've done, and any spills I made cleaned up really easily, especially on my skin. E-salon was kind enough to provide me with a complimentary hair tint in order for my very light blonde hair to successfully reach a rich level 6 brown. The lady who phoned me for my consultation was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this company and will be using again in the future. Expectations ExceededI am absolutely ecstatic with the colour result. I am massively picky when it comes to hair colour, and have attempted this particular shade of red numerous times, that even hairdressers haven't managed to achieve, yet it has been created here by people who have never even seen my hair in person. Not only that, the service provided from the general support chat, and specifically from the colourist herself, has been impeccable, and they showed so much patience with my picky attitude ahah This service is an absolute game changer, and I'm just gutted that I didn't know about it before. Easy to use but didn't cover greys at all.If I could give 0 stars, I would. Problem #1 - Original order did not cover greys at all. My colour was changed (to a slightly darker colour) and I was given a credit so I didn't have to pay for the second shipment. All good, right? Problem #2 - Second order was good. Covered the greys. But my third order was changed to a darker colour without me asking for it or being made aware of it before it was shipped. Problem #3 - Although I initially had better grey coverage the dye was fading quickly. I went back onto the website and realized I was getting demi-permanent dye and not permanent (Permanent is better for grey coverage.) So I asked to keep the same colour but switch to permanent dye. Which leads to... Problem #4 - When I mixed the 2 bottles together the smell was so strong - stronger than the demi-permanent and stronger than other box dyes I've used. I had to keep my bathroom door and windows open while using it. This wouldn't have been so bad but when I got into the shower and mixed the dye with warm water it was overpowering. The window and bathroom door were still open but the smell was so strong I felt like I was going to pass out. I had to get out of the shower (dripping with hair dye) to get air. I still felt nauseous half an hour later. I have been dying my hair at home for more than 10 years. I have never experienced anything like this before. Apparently, this is normal. Problem #5 - They could not keep the same color in permanent, but failed to tell me this, so now my roots are nearly black. I'm done! watery product with bubbles strips moistureI have curly hair that needs to stay well hydrated. I was hoping to tone down some of the brassiness that happens in the summer, but what I got was dry, frizzy hair.
