Surprised!!I really like this product a lot more than I thought! I’m going on today to make my color a little darker, however this is no fault of Esalon. I had my hair highlighted before I first started this. My only concern is that this last time I did my hair I noticed some irritation burning feeling as my scalp is very sensitive. And my scalp itched from being so dry fir a couple weeks after Hoping I won’t have to stop due to this issue. But willing to try again & we’ll see with this next try. If it happens again I’ll have to stop and go back to the hair dresser😕 Otherwise, I’d definitely rate this a 4 star possibly 5 stars as I absolutely LOVED IT AFTER MY FIRST TRY ❤️ 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. It is getting better.I was impressed with the first application. It was easy to apply and the color on top was perfect. The second second set was darker and more even. The third has lighten up a little, but it is all even through out. I am pleased with the evening of the color top to bottom. Definitely worth tryingI gave it a four with a few issues. The color has not stayed as well as the first coloring. I haven’t done anything different. I do love the color created for me, I did ask to have it lightened a bit but that didn’t happen. A shipment was sent in November but because of PS it didn’t arrive when notified E Salon did send at no cost another shipment which I did receive. I’m not saying I’m unhappy with ESalon just stating what I’ve experienced so far. Now I will say the colors are beautiful much better than what you would buy in a store and E Salon is there to help with any issues. Great color!I really liked the resulting color but did struggle with making a mess a bit. The smell is a bit strong but if my color lasts, it will be completely worth it. not the color I was hoping for...First of all I did not receive the color that I ordered and wanted, it was adjusted by the colorist so that I supposedly don't get "hot roots " but it was not the color i wanted so I ordered again and specified that I wanted some ASH Blond and not a warm blond so as not to get the red brassy tones that I ended up with anyway...i found the right color at Madison Reed.... 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. It turned out perfectInitially I felt like this hair was too cool red - but after one wash the color was PERFECT. I think it just needed to fade a smidge. Impressed! I should say and from the very first order.The only negative is that I have not ordered from here sooner! I have spent A LOT of money in salons over the past 15+ years (going every 5-6 weeks alternating among highlights, low lights and graduating to include gray coverage on my crown) The cost of salon visits along with the time incurred finally led me to explore other options and NOW I have found an amazing online alternative. The color matching consult and ordering process were easy and the intro price impressive. I WILL be ordering from here again and sharing with friends/family the gem I have found in eSalon.
