Very happy with my home colour kitI am on my third custom colour set and I am so glad I found this option. It's saving me a bunch of money at the salon, and the colour is a better match to my natural colour, than my last two stylists used. Oh. My. Gosh!I got my dream color! I cannot believe how well this turned out. I've tried so hard to get the right shade of red, one that wasn't so artificial looking as I'm freckled, pale skinned with blue eyes, i've wanted red hair for so long! I plan to stay with esalon. It was okI’ve colored my hair in the past with store bought dyes and wanted to try something different. The process was basically the same as when I’ve colored my hair before and my hair is pretty soft and doesn’t feel damaged at all which is nice. However, the color itself is soooo wrong and odd that the top of my hair is lighter than my lengths even though the top of my head developed longer. I still saw some greys and I wanted a brown with ash tones, but it’s very red toned at my scalp and while less red as you go down my hair, however still has red tone throughout. I don’t want red tones at all which I thought the ash would help with. Not totally dissatisfied but not the results I was looking for either. I contacted them to fix the color so I’ll see what happens. If it doesn’t come out right next time I’m going back to store brand. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Missing productI can not open the color for roots and ends refresh and the developer has been tampered with. The seal was not on the developer all the way and the bottle was leaking. I uploaded a picture on my profile. Opening the color did not work at all. After failing with grip strength I had tried pliers and a bottle opener and the lid of the color has not budged.
