Love the color and customer serviceI'm really happy with my most recent color. I am also impressed that when I had some difficulties with my initial order the company made it right. My only critique is that I don't feel like the gray coverage is quite where I would like it to be. ImpressedBuying anything online can be a gamble but due to lockdown I decided to take a chance with esalon hair colour. I did the quiz and also uploaded a photo. To my surprise I received an email saying my photo showed my hair colour to be lighter than the colours I chose on the quiz. This was true as I answered the quiz based more on my natural hair colour (which is what I wanted to get close to) rather than my colour was at the time of completing the quiz. They made suggestions as to what Colour I should have, which I went along with. I received my hair dye a couple of days later and I am so happy with the result! Not what I expectedI specifically made sure to select that I wanted an ash color. The color I was sent was a lot of “light blond” with a small amount of ash. I tried it anyway and it turned my roots a warm light auburn color. I DO NOT like warm colors and if I said my current dyed hair color was ash and I wanted ash blonde why would there be any warm in my color? I used to work in a salon I get color formulation and was going out on a limb trying esalon going out on a limb because I am no longer within driving distance of my salon. Unfortunately it’s not working for me. I also want to add it is very hard to get in contact with anyone. Your colorist you can only add a note and the only way I can do that is to reorder? Turned my roots orange!Disappointed. Whilst the packaging is really high quality and the product has left my hair in great condition I'm really unhappy with the colour. I sent photos of my 'before hair and was sent colour for my roots. I was after a pale ashy blonde to colour correct and blend with my outgrown highlights but what I now have is a very brassy/ ginger/ orange top and pale blonde highlights which were there to begin with. What a ripoff!!40 dollars for a colour? Seriously? In the middle of the pandemic when people are losing jobs?! Are you serious? What happened to $14 which is how much the first order was? Hair colour wrongMy hair colour is totally wrong the top and roots are nearly black and my lengths are red/ pink . I asked for my hair to be one colour and because of greys for the roots to match the length in colour I'm really disappointed. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
