Do NOT BuyI was impressed when I received my order as it came nicely packaged. I took a test strand and applied the product for 30 minutes. When I washed it out, the strand was orange and brassy. I made it clear to the colorist that there was no existing color in my hair and that I did not want any brassiness. I even purchased a toner. Anyway the color was brutal. I was not given the opportunity to receive a refund when I sent pictures of the strand test. I was immediately told that the color I bought would be modified. I received the new order and performed a strand test. This time, the color went on like purple and when I washed it out, it was a darker brass. When I reached out to the company for a refund, I was advised that since I had received their complimentary reformulation, they are unable to issue a refund for the order. Per their satisfaction guarantee, they offer a complimentary reformulation or a refund. (This explains the quick response to my email with no option of a refund). Didn't completely cover :-(For some reason the hair color didn't cover evenly. I followed the instructions. I timed the roots for 15 minutes, then finished the application and left it on for the recommended 5 minutes. Not sure if I should I have left it longer. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Too darkThe product was easy to apply, however it is much to dark. When I took the quiz I uploaded a photo so I really don't know why it's so dark. I said my hair colour was light brown and it come out dark brown. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Super HappyI was a bit sceptical seeing it advertised on Instagram and with some comments saying that eSalon had paid people to write reviews, but I am completely happy with how my hair turned out. I have used box dyes since I was 16 which had left my hair lifeless but this colour has made my hair look super healthy! It doesn't have that awful smell that most dyes do and there is plenty of it! Best at home hair color!!E-salon color will be my go to for all over color I do at home. The price is comparable to store bought, however my gray covered better than it ever has with store bought color, my hair is so shiny and soft and healthy. Just the colour for me.Thanks for the esalon colour service .It is a much better way rather than going to get a box from the supermarket and not really having much choice. I really felt depressed over the lockdown and didn’t go out for 3 days as my hair was looking dreadful .
