Too orangeWith every order I have specifically stated I do not want any orange in my hair and with each order so far it has turned out orange instead of brunette. I will give it one more try and then I am giving up and going back to the salon. On the plus side, it is easy to use and my hair seems soft and healthy. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. My color is just the way I like it, and I like the dry hair application method.I have one question about earning a free color set. I have been using eSalon since 2017. Simply Perfect!I’ve been using eSalon since last year as was recommended by my sister. I’d been after a rich very dark chocolate for ages but nothing I tried was right. I ordered their Darkest Brown Matte Ash & although it was lovely it was a bit flat. So my colourist adjusted it for the next 2 orders. But I still wasn’t completely satisfied. So I sent a message to my colourist & again the colour was adjusted & hey presto, I now have the most gorgeous luscious rich darkest chocolate brown locks (literally just this side of black) with perfect grey coverage & not a hint of red or copper! My daughter always applies it for me & once it had been coloured, washed & dried, I did a little excited jig around the bathroom 😂😂 Thank you Jessica, my colourist this time. not the same colorAlthough the product is really nice, easy to apply and my hair feels nourished and well done, the color is a huge disappointment. My hair turned out brown - plain dark brown, definitely not the dark copper I selected. It has some hints of red in there, but only under yellow lights. I haven't done anything in my hair for over a year and a half and I'm just dissapointed that now it looks boring brown and will be a long time again before I can do something else. In my notes I even referenced the model Dominique from your website, which I figure it would be hard to achieve since my hair is probably darker than it should be, but at the same time, the color I chose was definitely red, even a little auburn. I'm attaching a picture of how it turned out. I'll wait for a couple of washes to see if it fades a little and looks more interesting, but overall I'm really disappointed. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Unhappy with colourI thought the colour was a very good match however it hasn’t covered my grey and as suspected it is now very very white again. I just don’t think it has the strength to cover my level of grey. I did enquire about this. I do NOT want another colour sent via a subscription? This is of no use to me sadly. Please advise? Long time userWell to be honest I have use eSalon for years I have my lifetime long friend come over for the weekend and it’s her get away from life and we have a party. Sadly to say her husband contracted COVID-19 and now she has no more weekends to share so I’m doing it myself. Turned out good even if I do say so myself color one day lighting the next.
