DisappointingNot the vibrant copper I had hoped for, and further faded after a few washes. The packaging suggested part of the colour was a free gift, which is wrong as I paid for all over colour. Great colour match.I’m super pleased esalon matched my colour as had previously coloured my hair with a different brand a lovely copper shade, I would say my greys were not covered the best but I’m sure this is due to my own fault as I was trying to be careful not to overlap the colour and missed a few areas... however I have just used the light set to add highlights and the total effect now is amazing! Great for curlsI have naturally thick curly hair which I keep as glossy and healthy as possible - often box dyes dry out and ruin my curls and it takes weeks of care to get them back to their full glory. This custom colour set was perfect for keeping them hydrated and soft. The colour was rich and warm and I couldn’t be happier with it. Medium Blonde with strawberryI was a little skeptical about trying this. Oh my gosh they nailed my hair color!!!!! I’m a natural dark strawberry blonde. As I get older the roots come in gray or a dark brown. This covered that, gave me a beautiful color, and exactly what I asked for. I love the instructions provided to me. Amazing results!This is my second esalon order. The first time my colour turned out beautifully but I wanted a little bit of red added to the copper blonde mix. My colourist then mixed me a tailor-made colour to do just that! The kit has everything you need for vibrant, believable colour. The first time I used it it faded rapidly but it normally takes red colours a couple of goes to really take. At first it seems intense but after waiting 72 hrs before washing and then one or two washes later it settles into a beautiful, natural, multifaceted colour. You just can’t get that with supermarket dye. There is one colour for your roots and one for your ends to avoid “hot roots” as most people have naturally cooler and lighter toned roots . Shout out to my husband who I could never have done it without though. If you have long hair it can be difficult so a helping hand is much appreciated! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
