It made my hair darkerI was SUPER excited to try this that I bought the express shipping and checked on the order daily. I did all my research and watched review videos from actual hair stylists, and from everyday people who have used this product. Looked at all the how to’s from the company and TOTALLY prepared myself. Unfortunately, even with all that I’m disappointed. I did my hair profile and since I already “had” blonde highlights I thought it would be easy to go over again and lighten up. Because of covid and just life I haven’t gotten my hair done since November so even though I have blonde in my hair, it’s filled out a little. When I used this product it actually made my hair darker in the spots the blonde was. It also stained my towel and t shirt brown so I’m not sure if it was a wrong color issue or if the color they provided just didn’t work with my hair... when the product was in my hair it smelled REALLY strong so I can’t imagine it not working. But when I saw everything it touched turn brown I knew right away it probably wasn’t going to do much to the highlights I had in my hair. I’m really upset I spent so much money on a product I thought was safer to use and more responsible since I can’t go to the salon right during this time. I even wanted to sign up for auto shipments but something in the back of my mind told me to wait. I’m just really upset because I spent a lot of time trying to find the best way to color my hair without damaging it with drug store box dye and now I’m left with a worse outcome than i started with. I wanted to LOVE this product as it’s affordable and they make it easy to follow along and watch videos if it’s your first time doing your hair yourself, I really thought I found gold in this!! First time purchaseOrdered the kit to highlight my hair, mixed colour as directed, left colour on for time specified, used the shampoo and conditioner as provided. Color drab, no shine.The color is drab doesn’t shine. It’s still dark even with the color adjustment. I wanted to try all over color for my next order.but these results, I’ve reconsided. Color caused hair loss and dry hairI was excited to color my hair and cover up my grays. However, now I'm wishing that I had not. The first thing I noticed as I was massaging after the 30-minute wait, was the enormous amount of hair that was falling out. This was way more than usual. Second, my hair is very dry and knotty. I have curly hair so it's usually soft and I can comb easily. I am disappointed and wishing for my old hair back, grays and all. :( 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction.
