Did not cover graysLet me start by saying I really like the overall color I received. Instructions were easy to follow, I have a short bob at the moment as I am growing out a pixie so a do it yourself color was not difficult. I have a small amount of grays up front and along my part and the color did not cover the grays at all. I am very disappointed. Great color but didn't last longI loved the color reformulation results but the roots washed out pretty quickly. I would have to do it twice as often to keep my hair looking best. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Color & Tint RinseEsalon Color Team was spot on in getting my color correct but the product made my scalp itch & broke my hair. To be fair, my stylist also had trouble with products. She had to try several before she found one I could tolerate. Now that the quarantine has lifted I’m going back to my stylist for a good cut, hair Conditioner treatment & her artsy way of coloring. She doesn’t just put color on but adds different colors like golds & coppers on individual strands. It comes out beautiful & I would have to buy several different kits to do what she did, if I could do it Evenly. So eSalon if your product didn’t itch or break my hair, I might stay with you But I also like all the “tricks“ my stylist does to add shine & pizazz to my hair. Updated reviewJust received my first kit and tried it out.... I was very hesitant because I hadn’t had my hair colored in years and have never done it myself. I LOVE it!! I hope it stays this way..... so soft and shiny and the color is perfect. Fingers crossed..... update- received second kit and it’s been a total disaster! My hair is beyond brittle and dull and now I lose color every time I shampoo..... even though I am using the same eSalon shampoo and conditioner as before.
