Not for black folksThis hair dye is NOT for all black women or men. At Ieast I know it's not for 100% African hair texture.....i.e. 4c hair. I should have known before purchasing, most of the women on the ad were non-black women. Did NOT cover my Grey hair like I expected. Custom colorIt did not match my natural color. After I dyed it the color looks very unnatural. The dye dried my hair out so bad. It now feels damaged and super dry all the time. HorribleWorst hair Die I ever used. It’s Extremely messy. Stained my bath tub and all areas around where it splashed while washing the color off. I might be expecting too much?I have light brown hair but it pulls really red whenever I lighten it. I tried going just one shade lighter than my natural color but it kept looking brassy. I tried leaving it on longer and getting more neutralizer in the formula but it's just not what I was hoping for. Everyone thought I was trying to color my hair red when I was trying to go neutral. Very damaging!I gave eSalon a chance with 3 separate orders. The color does not cover gray, comes out patchy, and severely damaged my hair. Color is not satisfactoryI didn’t have great expectations, but the color is off, and when my roots grew out there was quite a difference in color. Because of the pandemic, I felt it best to continue with Esalon until local salons could fix my hair back to my natural color. Overall, I’m simply not pleased with the color.
