Brown with orange disasterI sent in a picture for proper color matching. I wrote notes detailing the light blonde I wanted. I referred to a specific esalon employee by name to further indicate the light color blonde I wanted. I was already light blonde except for the roots. I have been using color in my hair for 30 years. I followed the instructions exactly and the color I ended up with is a mouse brown with orange highlights. I'm HORRIFIED! It will cost me between $180 and $250 to get it color corrected and highlighted. Can't believe I fell for the marketing and ruined my hair. ZERO STARSI've colored with eSalon twice and both times it had to be fixed - not 'I don't like the color' fixed, it's "my roots don't match the rest of my hair" fixed. I would think after the first time, they'd keep a record of what I got, what I liked. Apparently not, because after last time, I'm thinking it's a slam dunk. Just refreshed the same color we did last time - NOOOOOO! I get drk brown when my hair is red. Then I get a form letter about how to start over,,,, yeah, thanks a lot. DisappointedThe light auburn color is bland with no vibrancy or life and EVERY time I color, for the next 2 days I have a HORRIBLE buildup on my hair. It feels like product is still in it. I have tried extensive rinses and washes during coloring but it simply is there every time. When I color, I cannot plan to go anywhere for 2 days because my hair is barely comb-able and looks awful like it is greasy. I have used for 3 applications... that is enough to know it is not a good fit for me. (Too bad because I love the convenience - but do hate that I can't simply order 3 bottles each time.
