Color not what I expectedI ordered a dark brown, natural golden color. It was all dark, with no golden at all. I followed the directions, but the color has no life to it. Color doesn't look like what I picked. Not bright or light enough.I don't like it. Even after getting a new color, I got the same color. I asked to go back to brown. And I now have more red hair. Sadly disappointedI was so exited to try this product as the options for copper/lighter red options are dwindling in the drug stores and I have little time to head to a salon. I followed the instructions explicitly and everything seemed to be going well until I followed the final and “do not skip” last step. I added water to the remaining dye from bottle two and poured the mixture over my hair and began to, as directed, massaged vigorously. My hair almost immediately turned into a gelatinous mess. The consistency of everything changed, I could barely move my gloves fingers through my hair, and I had waxy build up on my scalp and through out my very thick curly hair. 30 minutes and 5 shampoos. That’s what it took to get whatever it was that built up in my hair out. I have no idea what the color *might* have looked like if I didn’t have to shampoo that many times on freshly colored red hair to not have all the waxy residue to remove but the end result was pretty unimpressive. It was dull, light auburn color that looks similar to the shades I was trying to avoid in the stores. Given that the introductory pack included the very much needed second bottle (ends refresher) for thick longer hair, I cannot say that this product is worth what will be $35 for each additional coloring on my hair. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Shady business!DO NOT deal with this company unless you want them taking money out of your bank account without your permission!!!! I didn't even have time to color my hair with the first kit they sent when I see they charged my debit card for another kit!!!! Of course they charged my card on a Sunday when there was no one in customer service to talk to!!! I even cancelled the order before shipment so they can refund my card and they shipped it anyway!!!! I called customer ASAP first thing on Monday and they were going to make me pay for return shipping!!! Upon talking to a manager they said they would give me a full refund, when I get the package put "return to sender" on it put it in the mail and call back customer service and they would credit my card. Well I did all that and when I called back to get my refund after putting the kit "return to sender" back in the mail the customer rep said they will give me the refund once they recieve it in the mail!!! Now they are giving me the run around and don't want to refund my money like they said they would!!!! This is so not fair!!! They never should have shipped that order and they shouldn't be making transactions on people's accounts on days and times there is no customer service available!!! I haven't used the first kit they sent me yet and even if I do and I love the hair color it will be ashame because I will never do business with this company again!!!
