Pros and consIt’s definitely cheaper than a salon, but I usually buy box dye from the store and color my hair myself. This treatment left my hair in hard clumps while coloring. I figured no problem that it will just wash out. Nope! Even while washing, my hair still stayed in clumps. I had to wash and conditioner it twice just to break up the clumps. My hair is definitely not soft anymore. Maybe after a few more washes it will be okay. I had reddish brown colored hair prior to treatment, and I was trying to aim for a medium brown. I got a reddish medium brown. It’s not bad, but I was hoping to get rid of the red, but maybe I would have had to strip it first. My hair holds red really well. They sent me two bottles, but I only needed one bottle. My hair is long but fine. I will use the second bottle later and decide then if I will repurchase. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Waxy mess!I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. My hair was a waxy mess even with following the instructions exactly. I couldn’t get a comb through easily, couldn’t blow dry my hair and it kept leaving the waxy residue on my hands. I seriously had to wash my hair 8 times to get the gunk out. Color was completely offAfter follow the directions and application process and letting my hair dry naturally, I looked at my newly dyed hair and was very disappointed. The grays in the front of my hair did not take the dye, the color was darker than the original color of my hair and it looks very flat. When washing it with the shampoo, I lost a fist-full of hair. HmmmI was so excited about my hair color coming in the mail. I did it. Followed instructions BUT my results are not...Well, I don’t like it. I have been wearing my hair up since I did it because I am not happy with the color it turned out. Its way dark and not what it shows on the screen at all. Every time I wash my hair, I still see red in the water. I don’t know what to say. It cover my gray but the coloring is not nice and even. The color I used to get from the grocery store turned as in the box and it was even all over. How can this one didn’t do that?? This color looks bad. I wish it wasn’t the case. I really do. Wanted way darkerI had indicated that I wanted to darken my overall hair color quite significantly (wanted to go to a dark brown color). After I was done coloring you could barely tell that I had done anything. My husband did not even realize I had colored my hair. Very disappointing as I feel I wasted $30. Not a pleasant experienceI enjoyed opening my personalised packaging, but the product left my hair in different colour than expected and it was extremely difficult to wash it off. Very confused as to what the heck this color team is thinkingI politely provided a review of the product I received as ESALON ASKED ME TO. The color was great on the bottom half of my ends, which is what I told them. However, I expressed that the roots looked really terrible and not the color that I wanted. Instead of offering to send me a corrected dye to fix the bad 2 toned application, they notified me they made a new mixture, which was the OPPOSITE of what I expressed in the review. They made the entire color the ash brown (which was not ash it was a softener light brown which quickly became red after I dyed it). I am really not pleased with the quality of the dye either as it faded FASTER than boxed dye and my all over hair color is getting as brassy as my hair was before when I hadn't dyed in 6+ months (which looked terrible). So in conclusion I have 2 toned hair (lighter red top hair) and lengths that are somewhat darker and becoming more brassy. Also should note I use after color sealer to seal the cuticle and prevent oxidizing, wait 72 hours to wash my thin hair after colored hair (which takes dedication because it quickly gets greasy), and use salon formula shampoo and conditioners for dyed hair. Not impressed with the 100% satisfaction guarantee so far! Going to go out and get a box of dye to fix this before the holidays is what seems to be the answer. UPDATED REVIEW 2/10/19: It just keeps getting worse. a 3RD TRY, and the stylists/ customer service associates have ignored me again. I asked for ALL OVER PERMANENT DYE applications on both corrected orders and this 3rd one, they went back and gave me the exact same order as the first order I received which I complained about because it left my head TWO DIFFERENT COLORS. These people seem to be able to get it right, or follow through or listen to any instruction. I am beyond displeased. They did give me the same COLOR as my first order, and ignored all the rest of the instructions and my entire original complaint. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
