Color was too light at the roots.The kits were very nicely put together and when the color was not right before, they tried to correct the issue. Good deal at firstHmmm...ok well this was certainly a good deal at first. $10 for a kit that was very generous with 2 bottles for my roots and 2 for my ends which really helped because of my long hair. But $10 quickly became $30 and 4 bottles became only 2. ☹ I honestly don't think the quality of the dye was any better than one I could get at Walgreens and this was more expensive. And then there is the fact that they charge you for the product 2 weeks before they send your product. I didn't like that. The color did nothing.I filled out all of the information accordingly, followed all instructions and all the color did was lighten my roots. The rest of my hair looks almost untouched, maybe a little darker but it was supposed to lighten. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

DisappointedWhen I applied my color this time I noticed it looked darker than I remembered it in the first two deliveries. As I styled my hair, I saw that it was definitely darker and appeared "muddy", lacking the rich red tones of the previous sets. I have since washed and conditioned my hair twice, hoping that the drabness was due to color residue but no improvement. I reached out to eSalon for assistance on Monday of this week. I had previously been satisfied with eSalon's response times (1-2 days), but it has now been four days and I have heard nothing back other than the confirmation that my request had been received. COLOR WAS COMPLETELY OFFI have been dying my hair a very light auburn for years now. Even though I was very hesitant to veer off from my usual dye brand, I decided to give ESALON a try based on their "expertise" and customer reviews. I uploaded a picture of myself so they could do their best to match my color. What I ended up receiving was a BRIGHT, MERMAID, FIRE red that is completely off from my normal color. I couldn't belive how drastic the outcome was. I could understand if it was NEAR my normal shade in my original picture, but this was FAAAAARRR off. I had to go to the store to buy color oops just so I could strip it out!! It's unfortunate because I was very hopeful this program could work for me, but that's just the risk of trying it out. I was hoping I could post my before picture and after picture to show it better, but I don't see an option to do that. On another note, applying the product was very easily and gentle on my hair compared to other products. It was not runny and did not dry out my hair. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
